Terms & Conditions
1. Reservations containing incomplete, incorrect, or unverifiable information by the Obscuria team members will be automatically canceled without prior notice.
2. Reservations can be modified or canceled at least 4 hours in advance using the link in the confirmation email. Failure to respect the 4-hour minimum notice for cancellation/rescheduling will result in the obligation to pay for the reserved slot. If the reservations were paid for in advance, the amounts will not be refunded. Additionally, if players do not show up for their reservations or cancel less than 4 hours in advance, the Obscuria team reserves the right to deny future bookings.
3. Teams are required to arrive 10 minutes before the reserved time to participate in a brief presentation of the selected game and the conduct rules inside the room.
4. In the event that players are late beyond the reserved time, the Obscuria team will have to shorten the duration of the game to avoid delays for the following teams.
5. All reservations will be confirmed via email, containing all relevant details, such as the start times of the games and the scenarios chosen by the players. If you do not receive the confirmation email within 30 minutes of completing the booking, please contact us by phone or email for verification, using the contact information provided on the contact page.
6. Escape room games can be played by teams of 2 to 6 people. The minimum age to participate without needing adult players in the team is 14 years. Players aged 12-14 can only participate if accompanied by at least one adult (18+), who will assume responsibility for them and their actions during the games. Players under 12 can only participate in teams with at least 2 adults, with the number of children being exclusively equal to or less than the number of adults on the team (e.g., 2 children + 2 adults, 1 child + 3 adults). If this rule is not followed, the Obscuria team will cancel the reservation without refunding the payment.
Participants understand and accept that they will be monitored throughout the game via surveillance cameras. The surveillance is necessary for the smooth operation of the game and for quick intervention in emergency cases. The footage captured by the surveillance cameras during the game will be stored for up to 30 calendar days.
7. Participants understand and accept that during the game, the access door will be locked by exclusively electric means. The door will open either when the players find the solution to exit the room, at the end of the game duration, or when the emergency buttons are pressed. The emergency buttons will be available throughout the game and allow immediate evacuation from the room.
8. Escape room games are not recommended for individuals who suffer from claustrophobia, panic attacks, asthma, epilepsy, heart disease, individuals with implanted pacemakers and defibrillators, or those with other conditions incompatible with the game. Individuals who decide to participate, even if they fall into one of these categories, assume full responsibility for any consequences.
9. The room scenarios have been created with all necessary precautions in mind. The elements and objects inside the rooms are not harmful or dangerous to players. Participants assume full responsibility for any actions that cause physical or psychological harm, whether intentional or unintentional.
10. Access to the game is strictly prohibited for individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs or in possession of alcoholic beverages or drugs. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Obscuria. In case of non-compliance with these rules, our team will cancel the reservations or immediately stop the games without refunding the payments, as applicable.
11. Escape room games are based exclusively on the use of intelligence, logic, and attention to detail and do not involve the use of brute physical force. The solutions to the games do not require the damage or alteration of the furniture, decorative objects, room structure, surveillance system, or sound, lighting, or electrical installations. Damaging or destroying any elements in the room will result in the payment of the value of the damaged goods, as well as the reserved time slots for that room, if it cannot be used under optimal conditions for subsequent teams. In the case of minor players, the responsibility for covering the damage lies with the adults on the team or the parents/guardians, as applicable.
12. It is forbidden to photograph or record videos of the rooms or the objects inside the room. In case of violation of these rules, the game will be immediately stopped by the organizers without refunding the payment and may lead to legal action against those who disclose confidential information.
